Our Story
The Marenje OBT team began its journey in 2023 as part of the Word For The World organisation. Our primary focus is to translate the Holy Bible into the Marenje language, making God’s Word accessible to everyone in our community. We believe that language should never be a barrier to understanding the truth.
Our Vision
To translate the entire Bible to Marenje language by the year 2050, so that every person can read and hear the Word of God in their heart language.
Our Mission
- Preserve the Marenje language through written scripture.
- Collaborate with local and international partners for accurate translations.
- Empower the Marenje-speaking community with literacy programs.
- Spread the message of God’s love across all generations.
